Three down, three to go.
Today I transplanted one Gorilla Cookies autoflower outdoors in a Vego Garden 7-gallon rolling planter, and the other indoors in an AC Infinity 3-gallon fabric pot. That means three more plants to go!
An annoying thing: the rolling planter’s wheels are high-key feeble. With nothing in the planter they worked fine. As soon as I added soil, they locked up and left black scratch marks on the concrete. Why would you design wheels that can’t handle the weight of soil? How did they not catch this in testing?! I’m gonna reach out to Vego Garden and see what I hear back. This defeats the purpose of it being a rolling planter!!!
Fuck a fungus gnat.
I used a watering container for the indoor plant and added Mosquito Bits in hopes of destroying any fungus gnat larvae or eggs in the soil. Yes Mosquito Bits for fungus gnats.
It seems like whenever I buy soil, they’re already in there waiting to be annoying. I’ll be adding dem bitz to the water for the Banana Purple Punch and one of the HubbaHubbaHaze at transplant time. I’m less concerned about the outdoors since there’s space, the container is elevated, and the soil will dry quicker.
Here’s a pic of of the tent from today’s transplant. I elevated the Gorilla Cookies so it can drip water into the base vs. onto the tent floor. I also included the video of me transplanting the Gorilla Cookies outside.
